A newly developed hybrid instrument performs both gradient (by the Gradient Master™) and fractionating (by the Piston Gradient Fractionator™).
- Gradient (e.g. sucrose, glycerol, optiprep etc) is faster and more reproducible than any other gradient forming technique. - Can form up to 6 identical gradients. - Profile the fractions based on UV and a fluorescent flowcells. - The Topdown method enables to leave the gradient undisturbed, keeping the flow smooth and extremely precise. - Full digital control on the fractionation process allows to fractionate based on distance rather than drop or time. Therefore, enables to visualize a clear band and to record the results. - Gradient Profiling creates an accurate picture of the contents of the gradient, - Couples the most sensitive and accurate light sensing technology available to a unique flow cell geometry that minimizes the effects of laminar capillary flow, providing beautiful profiles while preserving resolution.
