The SpeedVac uses centrifugation, vacuum, and heat to concentrate samples from room temperature up to 45 degrees. The rotor is capable of fitting up to 200 eppendorf tubes at one time. The most typical use is for concentrating DNA though some labs are finding it beneficial in other processes.

The SpeedVac is located in Room 7B, Building 4 Level -1.
